Welcome to my personal website. I am an assistant professor in the department of economics and business administration at the Université Catholique de l’Ouest in Angers, France, and visiting professor at Saarland University in Saarbrücken, Germany. I previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Economic Policy at Leipzig University. I did my undergraduate and graduate studies in Berlin, Paris and Oxford, before obtaining a doctorate degree in economics from the University of Angers in France in 2017 working on the costs and benefits of central banking. I have obtained the habilitation (HDR) at the Sorbonne in Paris in 2023 for research on the concept of the neutrality of money and adverse effects of monetary policy. My broader research interests lie in the areas of macroeconomics, the history of economic thought, economic methodology, econometrics and Austrian economics.
